Catch the Aegean
12 days/11 nights, featuring: Athens, Mykonos, Delos, Paros, Santorini, Crete.
The Aegean Sea Beyond The Myth
The Greeks named the Aegean after the homonymous king of Athens. Once Athens lost the war against Crete, they had to send 14 teenagers every year to King Minos, as a gift to his son, the Minotaur. King Aegean, having sent his son, Theseus, along with 13 other children, wrongly concluded that they would not return from Crete and fell into the Sea.
The most important complex of islands of the Aegean Sea are the Cyclades. People named them after the Nymphs Cyclades when Poseidon, the god of the Sea, transformed them into rocks. Tour the Greek islands and travel through Mythology.
How To Capture The Aegean In 12 Days
If spending vacations in one place for 12 whole days, even if it is as exceptional as Athens seems to you a bit too long, Island hopping is what you, the inquisitive and restless traveler need.
Starting your tour from Athens, you can pass by all the islands you have fallen in love with while looking at touristic brochures. Mykonos and Santorini, the jewels of the Aegean Sea, are most people’s favorite.
Delos is one of a kind, the imposing princess from the past. The new queen of the Aegean, Paros, a beautiful traditional island with magnificent landscapes, has also gained a cosmopolitan air.
The southernmost of the Aegean islands, proud Crete, is imposing with its size, natural beauties and amazing weather.
