From the Aegean to the Ionian Aboard Your Own Yacht
Some yachts remain in one part of Greece throughout the season. Syrolana follows the rhythm of the Greek summer. In May, June, September and October, her private charters take shape around the Cyclades and Evia. Then, in July and August, the journey moves west to the greener landscapes of the Ionian Islands.
A traditional wooden motor sailer with six guest cabins, Syrolana is particularly well suited to families and groups of friends who want to experience Greece together while keeping the same private base throughout the journey. One day begins with another island ahead; another ends with a harbour, a town or a stretch of coastline that was still beyond the horizon that morning.
There is freedom in the route too. Rather than following a fixed public cruise itinerary, your private charter can be adapted around your travel dates, the region and the places that interest your group. At certain times, special one-way itineraries may also be possible, such as travelling from Mykonos towards Athens.
What remains constant is Syrolana herself: your own wooden yacht, your own group and a week in which Greece keeps changing around you.
Itinerary
Seasonal Private Yacht Routes in Greece
Syrolana’s charter season has a natural rhythm. In May, June, September and October, routes are planned through the Cyclades and/or Evia. In July and August, the yacht moves west to the Ionian Islands. Special one-way itineraries may also be possible, such as Mykonos to Athens, depending on the charter dates and the yacht’s position.
The Cyclades & Evia
Spring, early summer and autumn belong to the Aegean. During May, June, September and October, Syrolana can cruise through the Cyclades and/or Evia. Instead of following one fixed chain of islands, the route can be shaped around the time available and the places that interest your group, allowing the journey to unfold naturally from one part of the Aegean to the next.
The Ionian Islands
In July and August, Syrolana operates in the Ionian Islands, bringing a change of scenery to the height of summer. Greener island landscapes and the western Greek coastline give this part of the season its own character, while the yacht remains your private base as the route moves from place to place.
Special One-Way Itineraries
At certain times, special one-way charters may be possible, for example from Mykonos to Athens. A one-way journey can create a natural sense of progression, beginning in one part of Greece and finishing in another rather than returning to the same port.
Flexible Charter Planning
The proposed route can be adapted before departure around your interests, available time and the yacht’s position.

Is Syrolana chartered privately for our group?
Yes. Syrolana is offered as a whole-yacht charter, so you travel with your own family or group rather than sharing the yacht with unrelated passengers.
